RockMyRun and Susan G. Komen of Southern California are joining forces to support breast cancer awareness, by encouraging healthy and active lifestyles in our local communities.
So what are we doing? RockMyRun is donating $.10 for every new RockMyRun user that registers during the month of October to Susan G. Komen of Southern California, a non-profit dedicated to combating breast cancer through awareness and research.
The RockMyRun team will also be onsite this Sunday, November 2 at the Susan G. Komen San Diego Race for the Cure, pumping up runners and walkers with live music before and during the race. Not around this Sunday? You can also catch us onsite at the 3-Day breast cancer walk on November 21-23 and the Los Angeles Race for the Cure on March 7, 2015.
What can you do? Spread the word about RockMyRun to friends and family, making sure to let them know their download will help contribute to a Komen donation.
Join us this coming Sunday, November 2 at the Susan G. Komen San Diego Race for the Cure. Register for the race here by this Friday, October 31. During the run, make sure to keep an eye out for the RockMyRun team—we’ll be running the race and manning the water stations, all while blasting some motivational tunes!
